Business Form Design

Now forms … huh. Pretty tedious to think about, much less deal with. Every business has forms, even if they are just invoices and receipts. Most have many … often dozens. Shipping labels, shipping receipts, quotes, purchase orders, letterheads, rate sheets, maintenance records, inspection checklists, RFPs, sales orders, business cards, etc. It can be an exhausting list.

RTWhat we’ve found, in nearly every case, is a lack of consistency. One employee likes one font, another likes a different one, and their replacements like different ones. Over the years, forms end up having different margins, using different typefaces in different sizes with different size logos. And they design what “looks right” without taking some other things into account. Like just how much space people need to write an email address (long) or state (not an entire line). Fields that need space are cramped and fields that don’t have all the room in the world.

We evaluate all your internal documents, design a base template and produce versions of each form. We want everybody’s life to be easier … even the people who fill out your forms.
